Cryptocurrency prices can rise or fall sharply and unpredictably, sometimes within minutes. Past price movement is not a reliable indicator of future performance. You may lose some or all of the value of assets you hold or trade on Bitegit.
Some markets have limited buy and sell orders available at any given time. In low-liquidity conditions, you may not be able to buy or sell at the price you expect, or at all.
Nothing on Bitegit — including market data, order book depth, price charts, or educational content in the Bitegit Academy — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Bitegit does not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any particular asset.
P2P trades are between you and another user, settled via an external bank transfer or payment method that Bitegit does not control. While the crypto side of a P2P trade is held in escrow until you confirm payment was received, delays or errors on the payment side are outside Bitegit's control. Always confirm payment has actually arrived before releasing escrow, and use the in-app dispute process if something goes wrong.
Blockchain networks can experience congestion, forks, or outages that delay deposits and withdrawals. Software, including Bitegit's own systems, may occasionally have downtime, bugs, or require maintenance.
Enable two-factor authentication and use a withdrawal address whitelist. Never share your password or one-time codes with anyone, including someone claiming to be Bitegit support. Bitegit will never ask for your password or 2FA code.
The legal and regulatory treatment of digital assets varies by jurisdiction and continues to evolve. Changes in law or regulation could affect your ability to access or use Bitegit, or the value of assets you hold.
Bitegit does not guarantee any rate of return, profit, or the value of any asset. Any product described as "Earn," "staking," or similar carries its own separate risks and will have its own terms when it becomes available.
