1. About Bitegit & these terms

The Platform is operated by Bitegit (“Bitegit”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Agreement, together with any policies, product terms, or notices we publish and refer to from here, governs your access to and use of the Platform and all related products, features, tools, and content (collectively, the “Services”).

You” and “your” means the individual using the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity, and “you” refers to that entity.

2. Eligibility & account registration

To register for and use a Bitegit account, you must:

Each user may hold one account unless we expressly permit otherwise. Accounts are personal to you and may not be sold, rented, or shared.

3. Identity verification (KYC/AML)

Bitegit is required to operate identity-verification and anti-money-laundering procedures. To use certain Services (including deposits, withdrawals, and higher transaction limits) you must complete identity verification (“KYC”). This may require you to submit your legal name, date of birth, government-issued identification documents, a photograph or selfie, address information, and similar data. You authorise us and our verification providers to process this information for compliance and fraud-prevention purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or reverse any transaction, or limit or close your account, where verification is incomplete or where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, sanctions breaches, or other unlawful activity.

4. Account security & your responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, recovery codes, and devices secure. We strongly recommend you enable 2FA, set an anti-phishing code, and use the withdrawal address whitelist.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Any instruction we receive that is authenticated with your credentials (and, where enabled, your 2FA) will be treated as given by you. Notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account, except to the extent such losses are directly caused by our failure to meet our obligations under this Agreement or under applicable law.

5. The services we provide

Depending on your verification level and location, the Services may include: a hosted wallet for supported digital assets; peer-to-peer (P2P) trading of digital assets for fiat currency; spot trading and asset conversion executed against Bitegit; a flexible “Auto-Earn” yield product; deposits and withdrawals of supported assets; internal transfers between Bitegit users; market data; and customer support.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any Service, feature, or supported asset at any time. Some Services are described in the app as “coming soon” or are otherwise not yet available; those descriptions do not create any obligation to launch them.

6. Peer-to-peer (P2P) trading

P2P trading lets you buy and sell digital assets directly with other users. When you post or accept a P2P order:

If a dispute arises, either party may raise an appeal. Bitegit may review order data, chat messages, and evidence submitted by the parties and may, at its reasonable discretion, release escrow to one party, return it, or keep it locked pending further information. Bitegit’s dispute decisions relate only to the escrowed crypto; we cannot recover or refund fiat payments made between users.

7. Spot trading, conversion & Auto-Earn

Spot orders and asset conversions are executed immediately against Bitegit at a price derived from third-party market data at the time of execution, less any applicable fee. Prices move continuously; the price you receive may differ from any indicative quote shown beforehand. You may set a slippage tolerance; if the market moves beyond it, the order is rejected rather than filled.

Auto-Earn lets you allocate idle balances to a flexible yield position. The advertised annual percentage rate (APR) is indicative and variable, is not guaranteed, and may change or be reduced to zero. Yield accrues on the principal you have allocated and is credited when you redeem. You may redeem all or part of your position at any time. Auto-Earn is not a bank deposit, is not insured, and carries the risks described in section 10.

Futures, margin, and other leveraged products shown in the interface are not offered under this Agreement unless and until Bitegit expressly enables them for your account with their own additional terms.

8. Deposits, withdrawals & transfers

You are solely responsible for entering correct deposit and withdrawal details, including the network and destination address. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Bitegit cannot recover assets sent to a wrong address, an unsupported network, or a smart contract.

Withdrawals may be delayed or held for security review, compliance checks, or where you have an open P2P order or dispute. Where 2FA is enabled, a valid code is required for each withdrawal. Where you have enabled the withdrawal address whitelist, withdrawals to non-whitelisted addresses will be blocked.

Internal transfers between Bitegit users are processed on our books, are normally immediate, and, once completed, cannot be reversed by us. Send only to recipients you trust.

9. Fees

Fees for conversions, spot trades, withdrawals, and other Services are shown in the app or on the Platform before you confirm a transaction, and may be updated from time to time. Network (blockchain) fees are set by the relevant network and are not controlled by Bitegit. By confirming a transaction you agree to the fees disclosed for it.

10. Risk disclosure

Trading and holding digital assets involves significant risk. You may lose some or all of the value of your assets. In particular:

You should only transact with funds you can afford to lose, and you are responsible for assessing whether a transaction is appropriate for you in light of your circumstances. Nothing on the Platform is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

11. Prohibited activities

You must not use the Services to:

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend, restrict, freeze, or close your account, or reverse or withhold transactions, if we reasonably believe you have breached this Agreement, if required by law or by a competent authority, if we detect suspicious or fraudulent activity, or to protect Bitegit or other users. Where practicable and lawful we will give you notice and the reason.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support, provided you have no open orders, disputes, or outstanding obligations. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 10, 13, 14, 15, and 16) will survive.

13. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the “Bitegit” name and marks, is owned by Bitegit or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform except as permitted by law.

14. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitegit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitegit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Services. Bitegit’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Bitegit in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

15. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Bitegit and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing law & dispute resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed by Bitegit], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [jurisdiction to be confirmed by Bitegit], unless applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

17. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make a material change, we will give notice through the Platform or by email before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Agreement. If you do not accept it, you must stop using the Services and may close your account.
