Always check the address bar reads bitegit.com before entering your password or 2FA code. Bookmark it rather than following links from chat or email.

Only install the Bitegit app from the official Download page. Never install an APK sent to you directly by another person, even if they claim to be Bitegit staff.

Common scam patterns to watch for

Fake support agents — someone messages you first claiming to be Bitegit support and asks for your password, 2FA code, or a screen-share. Bitegit staff will never ask for these.

Guaranteed-profit offers — anyone promising guaranteed trading returns, or asking you to send crypto first to "unlock" a bigger payout, is running a scam.

Lookalike links — misspelled domains or shortened links claiming to be Bitegit. Type the address directly instead of clicking links from unknown senders.

If you believe you've been contacted by someone impersonating Bitegit, do not share any codes or passwords, and report it to support@bitegit.com.
